Artistic encounters.For the fifth consecutive year, contemporary works from the collections of the Centre National des Arts Plastiques (National Centre for Fine Arts) are on show in the collections of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Tours. From June 2011 to June 2012, a new selection of contemporary works take over the museum's ground floor and second floor exhibition spaces.The high realism exercised by Olivier Babin encounters the virtuoso thoroughness of the Flemish still lives and lush ceramics of the Tours school, and likewise Bertrand Lavier humorously works on imitations and the perfect copy.This project is the fruit of a committed partnership between the Museum of Fine Arts in Tours, the University François Rabelais and the CNAP.
